    hi,
Processor: Intel Core Duo Mobile 2.00 Ghz (OC'd to 2.25 ghz) T5750
    Screen Size: 15.6"
    Memory: 4 GB of DDR2
    HD: 200 GB SATA 7200rpm
    Optical Drive: Double-layer dvd+writer
Graphics: Nvidia 9700GT 512mb dedicated memory
Other information: has a wifi card in, ethernet port, hdmi, express card slot, esata, firewire, and 4 usb slots.

i will be buying this G50Vm-X1 from a local classified for $900 face to face, and he says it has protection and accidental plan, but it's under his name, so in case it breaks, he will have to take it to best buy to get it fixed.

    questions:
is there any way to transfer this plan under my name?
and what are some things i should look into before buying this laptop? any common problems i should know?
and is there a way to upgrade the CPU?? what is my cpu limit?

    thank you in advance

The warranties are fully transferable. Go to Best Buy and ask for the warranty paperwork. There's a section on the back just for transferring the warranty, both you and the seller signs it, and the warranty is transferred.

Otherwise, you can also ask for the purchase receipt from the seller.

    No. That is too much.

You might find an open box for close to that much at Best Buy.

Plus the new one is ony 1250 and it is much more powerful (g50vt-x1).

It is a good price. Lewdig is confused. The newer model isn't that much better. they updated the grahpics card and added .1ghz to the processor.

I have one Im trying to sell also. but only becuase diablo 3 comes out in a year and i dont plan on using it for naything else.

There should be an option in the driver that chooses between stretching and leaving black bars left/right, but I'm not sure. My old ATI computer had it.
