    Hi All,

I'm looking to get a travel notebook case for my C90. Can anyone recommend a good case? I'm concerned that the fan housing on the back may case some issues finding a good fit or the correct padding.

    Thanks,

Case or sleeve? I have a sleeve for putting it in so it doesn't get scratched or dirty while in my backpack.

Forerunner, do you have a backpack or a messenger bag. And if you have a backpack, which one is it? Because I really need to be able to take this baby around with me but am hesitant because of the turbo fan in the back that may not fit in some 15.4" compatible backpacks.

I have a typical school backpack. NOthing special. Its average sized and fits my c90 fine. My notebooks are around it and the sleeve also offers bumps and shock protection. I personally don't see the point of notebook backpacks unless you just have a backpack thats too small that won't fit your books and your laptop. My backpack fits it fine and I don't have any books to carry just notebooks mainly.

Heres two backpacks that I've tried. Cheaper one is good and the latter was excellent. Very comfortable and well padded for protection.

    Thanks Forerunner,

Is there any difference in padding/protection between the backpack models and the briefcase type?

There are some good messenger style ones too. THey tend to be cheaper. It all depends on what you prefer. Obviously messenger bags put more pressure on one shoulder whereas backpacks spread the weight.

I like it as it doesn't scream out "here's my bad arse laptop, come get a beating by trying to take it from me."

Vertical messenger bag came in today, very happy with the purchase. Not to mention the c90 fits fine in the bag without any problems. It actually can fit in the bag with the Caselogic (NCLE 15) sleeve on it as well, although it's a bit snug. Plenty of room for cooler, PS, mouse, m67s and extra mags ;)

I have that cheap bag that was on sale from best buy for 13$ with free shiping the Targus Groove

    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...argus&lp=9&type=product&cp=2&id=1158103765061

still cheap even not on sale like 27$ It was a nice upgrade from the stock bag because I wanted to carry alot of stuff.

I keep my logitec v20 speakers in there, my xbox 360 controller, my ear buds, my mini screw drivers, my blue tooth ear piece, the notebook, a few games, my wacom tablet, my G7 Mouse, and my lock. It all has a place. The notebook fits about as snug in this bag as it did the bag that came with it, but that just means it wont move around any, once you get used to it you get skilled in putting it in.

The original bag is good if you want to go somewhere and know you just need the notebook and the power brick and a mouse. Since I am a gammer/photoshoper on the go tho I needed the extra space for stuff.

I got a rather expensive Targus one for College. Its made for a 17" lappy so it fits the C90 quite nicely. Its enough to store my laptop, some notebooks, and whatever else I might need (minus textbooks of course).

For future posts about which bag used and what works/doesn't, let's use some brand/model labels, so we don't end up with "my bag fits fine, it's blue" threads.
