Hey i was wondering if anyone could help me. Currently i have a c90s on vista 64x and whenever the computer either sleeps or hibernates, or if i close the lid the sound doesnt work unless i restart the computer or log off and then log back onto my account. Thanks for your time!

edit: This is also true with my WiFi connection. everytime i have to disconnect and reconnect my wifi. My drivers all say they are up to date too.

I run Vista 64 as well and I'm using driver version 6.0.1.5391. I'd give that a shot and see if it works.

    Rockingchair,

Glad to hear your audio problem seems to be fixed. About the wifi issue.. I'm guessing you have an Intel 4965 card? If you do then there is a well know issue with a lot of C90's and this card. Apparently, a good deal of 4965 cards will not work with the C90S correctly and behave like you are describing.

I suffer from these same issues with my 4965 and have tried just about every possible "solution" there is to no avail. Sorry for the bad news : / Currently, the only solution is to buy a different wifi card. Some people are lucky and haven't had these issues with there C90S, but it's pretty wide spread.

I'd suggest selling the Intel card and buying an Atheros Wireless N card. People have reported good success with these cards.

Also, as a temporary solution you can use a trick another forum member came up with (sorry I forgot your name : / ). Basically all you do is put the computer to sleep or hibernate before you unplug the AC adapter. Then when it's asleep or hibernating you unplug the AC adapter and start it back up. This will keep your connection. This method is thanks to the original member who came up with it!

    Good luck
