Seems to be an exact copy of the Asus C90s. At least design wise.
-
it is a C90s
-
It IS the C90S. Asus is a provider, Velocity Micro is a reseller and as a reseller are allowed to rebadge the unit as they wish. In which case, the case of the C90 is not badged. I'm sure the start up of that unit reveals that it is indeed, an Asus.
-
No I'm pretty sure they modified it in the bios (yes you can) so it's the VM logo that spawns , if you flash using Asus' direct bios then yes it would
-
^ probabbly..just like CyberPowerPC did with their C90s' I belive
-
Well then, I stand corrected. Thanks for the clarification.

And PC Club's Enpower ENP690, another rebranded C90S.

hurray for free education XD

I own the Velocity Micro X20. It's great! Fantastic customer service, great extras (like 3dMark06), and I even got a free $50 Best Buy gift card with it. I love it.

Someone here read the Cnet review for the notebook. They compare the computer against 17" laptops. I liked to read reviews in Cnet for laptops, but they are worst every time. The only good thing is the performance comparisions.

I bought my Velocity Micro C90 down at Circuit City. My guess was that they would have to be a pretty good company for the big chain stores to carry their products. The service from Velocity Micro has so far been pretty good. The box my laptop came in didn't have a Vista disk, I called the company and they sent one right out. So far so good.

It's just a normal C90s just re branded like here in Australia we get the Metabox C90, Same computer under a different name.
c90s or Velocity Micro
