How much would putting 3 gigs of 800mhz ram in the c90 help over 3 gigs of 667mhz ram in terms of performance and overclocking?

I belive somebody said it was a mistake, and that its not supported, however the stock bios keeps the ram at a 1:1 fsb ratio wich means if you use ddr2800 it will not run at 800mhz. Read my review for more info.

Also even if it did run at 800mhz there would be a divider in place to achieve that and the gains from the extra bandwidth would be very small except memory benchmarks, and then most if not all of that benifit can be take up by the fact that the cpu and ram are no longer in sync.

Save your money and get DDR2 667.
