have you dont any updates yourself? perhaps a clean install of vista?

go to the asus website and download the camera driver - try reinstalling that

^ you can try to install the xp drivers to see if theyll do the trick

otherwise youll probably have to give asus a call...or try using the driver disk that came with the laptop...

    Sasha,

I had an entirely different issue with the webcam. The cam was working alright but suddenly one fine day, the images were kinda very distored. It was as if the i have rubbed the camera with sand paper!! i jes had to do a restart again and it was working alright. I had this issue a couple of times after that, finally found out that no two programs can use the camera at a time.

I suggest you try to check the camera with either MSN messenger or with Yahoo which have an option of ine tuning the camera. This might surely help.

What is your asus lappy model?? btw u can also search for the drivers in asus global site.

    Thanks,
