    But i think u need to update ur BIOS to 205. correct me if i a wrong

    no need to . Just gather all the driver of G1 with XP version and u're set.

    Go to bios and change Sata settings to IDE so u don't need a Windows XP disc with SATA embed insde.

    Yes, but I think for the G1s that SATA setting is only available in the 205 BIOS or later (I might be wrong though, just what I remember from other people's posts)
