I have noticed that a few sites in the US have the w3j listed on their sites at 1799, I was wondering if anyone know what the MRSP will be in canada?

Only 2100ish canadian? Are you sure??? I remember the W3V being 2300, no?

Jeez that's a great price for a laptop of that caliber~!

I'm still so glad I got my sweet, sweet, overhauled baby for under 2 grand canadian. I say overhauled because she's basically new, got a new motherboard, which means new audio, new video, and new casing.

I KNEW something was wrong with my Z70Va, but people just though otherwise. *sigh*

I had no idea the problem was so big though. Didn't know my motherboard was wacky because of the videocard onboard. Glad they noticed it.

Good for you Asus guys in Toronto~! Just be sure you don't scratch anyone elses notebook~!

Yeah, when the W3V first released here in Canada, It was supposed to sell for $2399 MSRP, but you could find it for $2199 within a week or so. Right now you can get the latest spec W3V for $1800 Canadian...and the original spec W3V for $1599, It was at $1499 when the rebates were on a few weeks back.

The W3J is already pre-ordering for $2050 Canadian, FOR SURE...and both places I know of are also throwing in a few extra goodies at that price with your pre-order. If people can wait for the next shipment or two, a few places should be selling them for under $2000 Canadian, especially if you buy it in-store and with cash. :)

Hey Justin, there's even a few places here that still have the S5a's in stock, they're asking $1450 Canadian for them. How funny is that?
