    cant get lcd hype to work on asus g50vtx5

    i downloaded the lcdhype folder listed by preditor mf i cant get it to work after i extract it there is no way for me to install it it just says i need a program to open it with?

    Follow the instructions here and you should be able to get it working.

    Oops! Follow the instructions here first but substitute the above as needed for the G50 instead of the G1s.

    ok how do i get the driver into the lcdhype it wants me to use a program to open with[the driver} what program do i use? i insalled lcdhype ran it but dont see a asus driver to click on in the configuration!! i just need to be taken through the steps! thank you!

    The first link I gave will bring you straight through what you need. First download the driver from the link on that page. Then extract the driver from the archive (zip) file into the LCDHype\controller folder (your installation is most likely different from mine since I dual boot but mine is at "D:\Program Files\LCDHype\controller"). Then open LCDHype and configure the controller per the first link I provided.

    That should do it. All you do with the controller (driver) is extract it to the controller folder, everything else is done in LCDHype. If you are actually having problems extracting the controller (driver), then get a zip file program like 7-Zip.
