    Hey, does anybody know if you can and how you can clear the CMOS in the S96J?

    I may be incorrect but i believe all you have to do is pull out the little battery for a second then put it back in.

    "the little battery" there's no nicd battery like in a desktop mobo...

    um well cause i think my RAM is hooped and I've basically tried everything else - I thought clearing some settings would make it start from scratch boohoo I have to RMA my RAM. anyways the Compal link is for a Compal h80 or something (yeah i saw that in my google search as well) - there's no such jumper on the laptop that i can see. although they put a bunch of black filmy stuff on so you can't see it. anyways i couldn't find it and my guess is there is no "switch" like in some other mobos. If anyone finds out and it fixes my computer i'll give them rep points every second I can.
