would it be possible to somehow change the Fn and CTRL keys on my W3J?

maybe i can do some registry tweaks and then just swap the keys or something...

Unfortunately this issue has been talked about for quite some time, and the answer is "no". The FN key isn't registered within Windows and but on a BIOS level, there is no way of swapping the CTRL and FN key.

This best way is to get used to it, which only took me about a week or so to adapt.

yea.. ive gotten use to it...

but i touch so many diffferent laptops and all their Fn is to the right of CTRL - sometimes it gets confusing.

    oh well :|
    i still love my W3J

I use all sorts of different keyboards and laptops. Using the W3j as your primary it will be easy. It takes a few months to really get used to having both configurations. Its like learning a second language. Once you use it as your primary, you almost have to relearn the first language.

Uh, for me it was more like weeks. I'm using a USB keyboard at work and the laptop keyboard at home, and after a few days I did't even realize that the Ctrl and Fn functions are swapped differently for the two keyboards... my brain handled it automatically.

For me the external keyboards have never been a problem because the Ctrl keys are so large on them that they cover the space for both keys. But, to get used to laptops with them switched, and be proficient on both took a little bit of time.

Oh I see. Probably that's why it was easier for me.
