    I have a asus F7sr laptop which is running a Intel Core 2 Duo t7500 2.2ghz cpu and was wondering if i can upgrade to a Core 2 Duo T7800 2.6GHz?

    doesn't look like it, wrong socket. I think you're stuck with a Core 2 Duo T7600 as your best option. Check the wikipedia page, or the ark.intel.com database to find something with the same socket and FSB. Even FSB isn't that important, if your mobo supports others...

    ok no worries perhaps i wouldnt notice much of a difference if i did upgrade
    i might check my mainboard specs to see what it can handle.
