to make this short. this morning my f3f won't power on. I already called asus and got an RMA. but I pulled the battery, nothing. Any idea? I did back up 3 months ago so that's ok, but I'd rather fix it myself if possible. search didn't help

ok now it's back on. I fuzzed around with the battery and now it powers on. it works with and without battery. does anybody have a clue? or have a similar experience?

Perhaps the internal power wiring is loose or breaking.

So let me get it straight:

    1. It does work, but randomly, with only battery(is it charged?)
    2. It does work, but randomly, with the power plug.

Does it work with the power plugged in and no battery?

    Sorry, I'm a bit confused :p

I don't know if there's a pattern yet. with the battery in and plugged into the wall the light comes on for a sec and then it doesn't turn on. then I pull the battery and it works. when it's on and I pull the ac it still remains on. more testing to come
