    deleted programme in error!

    :confused: Hi All, this is my first post on this site and I need some help please. I have an ASUSA6R notebook PC now 4 years old and I removed in error the Power4Gear program! Now I get an error message every time I switch my laptop on:-
    C\ProgramFiles\ASUS\Power4Gear\CF62.BLC Open Power policy file error
    Load default setting error.

    I have still got a progam of 0.25mb size on file but when I try to remove it I get the following message:

    An installation support file could not be installed. The system cannot find the files specified.

    What do I need to do to rectify this, I am not a technically minded gal so need clear and precise instructions.

    Use the windows uninstall to get rid of power4gear. That should do it.

    use unlocker. and check taskmanager. after that do a clean uninstall of it. i fergot what program you use to uninstall programs and clean registries. best of luck
