Guys... I just thought I'd post this picture to show a lot of you the visual difference between the M5 and W5...... and try to explain to a lot of you why the M5 isn't going anywhere.....

Below is a link to a picture I just took... As you will notice..
1 the W5 is a little more white than pure pearl like the M5 is...
    2. the keyboard is a solid white instead of the translucent (something I like)
    3. the aluminum touchpad is smaller than the M5... both work, depends on what you like.

The reason I show you this picture is because when you are thinking about the W5 you can't think it's an M5 but wider...... when you do, the camera at the top looks HUGE in your mind.. and when you look at the touchpad.. it just looks like it's the same size, but wider.. but in reality it's smaller. So, plenty of people are going to love the W5 but the picture below is to help you understand it compared to my white M5... Notice the 12" widescreen is just a hair wider than the M5 (1/2" to be exact), but it is 3/4" shorter.... it depends on what you want... but the W5 in my book is to be put between the S5 and M5 size wise (screen and weight and dimensions)....

let me know what you think.

And for a look at the screens: (the W5 as you can see doesn't look that much better than the M5 - becasue the M5's screen is nice to begin with.. but the glare-type screen makes for a slightly better green shade in the grass if you can see that)

    edit:
Also, one thing I loved on the S5/M5 was the pinstriped battery that was silver on the S5 and black on the M5... the W5 has a plain white color which just makes it blend into the system... both have their place... Also..... the S5/M5 batteries work in the W5..... they aren't "made for it"..... but the 3x S5 battery looks and works fine in the W5... the 3 cell works too... but it doesn't sit flush with the back.. sticks out 1/8 inch and doesn't look right.. but works... so that's something to keep in mind.

For my 550th post ----- I just wanted to add that I think my comments made me biased towards the M5. Really, I just want to let everyone know all of the differences so they can make up their own mind. I think what you'll see is the benefits of the W5, and that things like the camera aren't actually tacky.... they work with that smaller size. But at the same time, there is a reason the M5 and S5 aren't going anywhere....

The best part about the W5 is that it has built-in RF and Bluetooth.... that helps with the included white logitech RF mouse!... The camera is also really neat. It has all the fuctionality you need built onto the screen... digital zoom... mic on and off... snap shot button.. 1.3mp is awesome for webcam use too.. So, functionality wise, it's a great little system.

    Thanks,
    Justin
