I just bought an Asus F80S-X1, and there is a single stuck red pixel near the center of the screen off to the right.
Staples doesn't have any more in stock for me to exchange with. What is Asus' dead pixel policy?
Right now, I'm running a stuck pixel fixer (flashing colours), but I doubt it will fix it--we'll see.

Notebooks purchased from Staples may not qualify for the 30 day zero bright-dot protection, but it never hurts to ask. I'd contact Asus and ask them about it.
In the meantime, you could try and fix the stuck pixel yourself.

I think all ASUS laptops come with 30 day-ZBD (Zero Bright Dot) policy.
What that means is that if you have at least one "non-black" stuck pixel, ASUS will replace the screen for you.
Search for the Staples' dead-pixel policy also... and good luck.--

Yeah the pixel policy usually involve 3 dead pixels which is the industry standard for a replacement unless otherwise stated.
Id try get it unstuck first, if it doesnt work just return it or something.
Dead/Stuck pixels do happen time to time. To have a perfect screen your gonna need to have over 3 million~ flawless transistors on a WXGA screen -
Asus's dead/stuck pixel policy is 1 dead/stuck pixel = screen replacement. However, that warranty is only valid in North America. From the OP's spelling of "color (colour)" he could be from the EU and that wouldn't qualify for a replacement.
I would still recommend contact your local Asus service center and ask what the policy is. -

Nice analysis, but I am from Canada, and we spell like the British
-
Come now =D You guys live just south of us and havent realized we spell it as "colour"
And this may be a shock, but we spell favorite as "favourite" XD -
Asus Canada has probably the best customer service in the world and most accommodating
Hopefully you can get your screen issue resolved soon.
That's why i said " could be from EU"
No hard feelings, eh? -
(btw i was born in EU <3) XD
but maybe later you can come visit me in my igloo, be careful of the polar bears roaming around though XD

Staples sell Asus notebooks? News to me!

They dont even carry the G50 =/ or the EEEs for that matter
