    does the g1s have a built in mic?

    I swear it has one near the camera...curious how I get it working! haha, I do not see it in devices or anything, I have been working with ventrilo to see if I get anything, but there are no mics persay...any ideas?

    Yes... In Vertrilo you have to set it to either press a key and then talk, or let it be all-talk. meaning that the mic is picking up everything no matter if any key is pressed or not. The option should be under Preferences. Also, for games like Counterstrike Source just press K, or whatever key is binded to the mic to talk.

    I know this, but I am curious what its calle din device manager, because I do not see it.

    Do you mean yours isn't working on default? Odd.... Mine worked the instant I tried it out in Counterstrike Source. Maybe you need to reinstall the webcam drivers that are probably on the Asus resource site?

    *EDIT* I found the webcam driver under Imaging Devices in the Device Manager....
