I recently tooked out the dummy plug for the card reader in my z70va. However, I cant put the dummy plug back it. I tried pushing it but it just sticks out when i release it. Is there anything i can do to keep it in the card reader? thanks.

I'm guessing it goes all the way in then comes back out? Just give it a little firmer of a push until it clicks ;)

    Cheers!

I've had the same experience here and there with my va. It never happens with a real mem. card but the dummy sometimes doesn't want to click and stay. You just have to give it a few attempts and it will give you a solid click sound and then grab it.

... well the card don't actually lock in, even though they click down..... and the dummy card is usually looser also...

Here is the answer to this problem.

You have to push it in on the left side of the dummy card for it to lock. Strange? I dunno, maybe it's a security function so it doesn't pop out and in so easily.

Maybe it's just like this on my Z70Va, but I like it :D

    Cheers,
    Mike

I've had that happen on my M6Ne as well... I just kept pushing it a few times and it locked.
I would agree the dummy card doesn't like to lock as much as real mem cards do...probably because it lacks notches of a real card.

Eh, eh, eh. I'm pretty sure I am correct now, after AuroraSes input.

If you don't press on it where it's supposed to be pressed then yes it will miss locking, then after a few tries you will hit the spot.

Try it out, I'm pretty sure it's like that for a reason now and that it's not just my machine. Try the left side of the dummy card and it will click everytime.

    Cheers,
    Mike
