    eee pc 1000he battery not working?

    hi all,

    my brother has the eee pc 1000he which has like a year, one day the battery or something else stopped working, cause when u connect the battery it says 100% full charge, but as soon as u disconnect the power cable it shuts off immediately i dunno if its the battery or the PC anyways does anyone had any kind of experience with this model/problem

    PS: i tried everest on it and the battery wear lvl shows 6% so i dont think its the battery

    You mentioned that the netbook shuts off immediately when you disconnect the power cable, but does the netbook turn on when you run it only on battery?

    noup...with battery it just wont work...i cant really buy a new battery to check if thats it cuz i would have to wait like a month for it to get to my country...

    nothing...cause that soft discharge the battery but when im on AC power the battery wont be used, just charged
