    expressgate doesnt connect

    Hi there,
    Express gate is a good idea, and i really like it.
    However, I usually cannot connect to my wireless connection. Every other computer and the vista OS connects but the expressgate function does not.
    It is a WPA1/2 key and it just keeps saying 'connecting..'. I wonder what the problem is. I managed to get it connected once, but once i restarted it didn't do that.

    PS: on another note, how do i update expressgate? [I have asus m51vr ap100c).

    I had the same problem with my n10j a2 and I had to update the firmware on my wireless router. I also got the latest WLan drivers and the Expressgate. The Asus livesupport tech guy gave me the links for them. And it also seems to matter how far away from the wireless router that I am. I had the same problem with connecting, but now I am connecting when I please in Expressgate. Its' pretty nice.
    Do a search of "discipler", and see my post on the same issue you are having.

    Expressgate should be downloadable from the Asus website. Is it?

    It is downloadable...on a good day when their servers aren't overloaded, I got mine from the China server. You need to search for Expressgate as it is not under the list of downloads for any specific notebook.
