I just recently picked up a f3sv-b1 so if anyone can give me a list of all the bloatware I should get rid of then please do so. I don't know if there is a sticky on this already. Also any free recommended anti-virus programs are welcome as well.

    thanks.

Ha! I knew there was going to be another topic on this today. I'm willing to bet there are going to be at least 5 threads a week started on this type of issue, with no user bothering to search for the older threads on the same topic.

I've nothing against you pwnster08 I just had a (very brief) discussion on this type of threads yesterday. :)

    Code:
Remove ASUS Data Security Manager if you have one, it is known to cause stutterring issues.
Remove ASUS LifeFrame, it is pretty useless to most and has issues with some games.
Possibly remove ASUS Wireless Console, not very useful (mostly duplicates the function of the wireless and bluetooth hotbuttons).
i have been having alot of driver issues and problems when playing command and conquer generals and counterstrike source, do you think that removing that lifeframe would fix the problems?

and if i remove these things, can i get them back? because i read somewhere that the webcam only seems to work with lifeframe.

and the data security manager, does that have to do with the fingerprint reader?
