    f50z bluetooth missing

    hi..i have this 1 Asus F50Z QL62 ..seems to me there is no bluetooth :confused: The lamp exist,but I cant turn it on.I deinstalled software drivers which came with laptop,then I tried to install ones downloaded from asus support site..but installer tell me that I have no device plugged in.. Is it possible that I don't have bluetooth? Thx

    I'm not so familiar with the non-US Asus models, but from the specs I dug up on google, it seems like your notebook should have an internal bluetooth module. Check your device manager to see if you have the bluetooth adapter or if there's an exclamation mark next to it.

    Was it recently purchased? Try taking it back to the reseller and complain. Maybe your reseller chose not to include bluetooth in order to lower the cost. I know my model, the A8Jm, bluetooth was optional in the Canada/States but it was mandatory in Asia. So my laptop has a lamp, bluetooth hot keys, and everything but no module.

    See if you can reinstall the BT driver under safe mode.

    If that fails, you can also physically check to see if the BT module is installed on your notebook. It should look something like this:
