i'm just wondering if all asus built in webcams are like this, it is incredibly choppy (i.e. when i move the slightest bit, there is an incredible amount of lag and blurriness), this is for when i'm picture taking with lifeframe2 (moving before i even capture) or if i'm using the webcam on MSN,

i dont have access to compare the webcam with other asus laptops but comparing it with any other brand laptops, theirs is smooth in capturing pictures and videos/webcamming

**main question: if theres a fix for the laggy/choppy webcam or if it's normal for asus laptops

If you aren't using *any* webcam for video in good lighting, i.e. just overhead lightbulb, the software will attempt to compensate for the poor light by altering the exposure and FPS to get a picture you can actually see -- else the whole frame ends up in total dark shadow. The practical effect is the choppy picture you end up seeing, usually when you drop below 10fps or so.

The solution is to use better lighting and your picture will improve.
