Does fast boot really... boots fast? I don't see it. if it just "delays" something, i was thinking it loads it slowly and saves time on waiting or something.

    this is crap isn't it?

I'd say the vast majority of Asus' pre-loaded software is pure crap. The remainder is only partially crap.

The point of boot optimizing software is to get you to the home screen as quickly as possible, but may not necessarily have all your minimized or background process programs working yet.

Some software rearranges the programs and delays their start as a means to accomplish this, and Soluto lets you visually see whether you can take some things out of the mix to improve the boot time.

Most of the software is redundant and takes up resources. I only kept the ATK software for the function keys/lights.

Unless you have lots of pre-loaded crapware or startup programs, you won't need FastBoot. FastBoot is even more meaningless if you have a SSD.

all I have are my factory processors at start. Like around 80 or 90 processors. Not really many start up programs. seems to be useless so I'll probably get rid of it.
