i wanted to ask is there anyway to force the clock speeds to stay at full speed? on a g50vt-5

because when it goes in low power webpages starts to slow down when you scroll maybe that because im useing my 28in hanns at 1920x1200.

but still would like to have lag free well scrolling.

like when i quit a game and scroll threw pages it flys threw but when it goes to a lower speed its slow.

if you're running GeForce, install ntune and add a profile that will set custom clocks when you start a specific application (webbrowser in your case)

I may sound dumb, but have you checked if your machine is set to performance mode on vista?

Yep it was either the powermizer or the vista power mode.
