    force nvidia graphics card in an intel nvidia combo

    mac has the abilitiy to do this,
    is there any way to do this on a pc with a haswell chipset?

    or a laptop,
    i have a asus ux 302 to be persice..

    any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance!

    If you right click in the desktop, you can access nvidia control panel. (Not geforce experience ) in there you can set why card is used on a per app basis.

    It's a soft force yes, hard forcing it would require a mux to switch the displays to dedicated only which is something the apple machines don't have either.

    While you can't force it to run exclusively/take over the Intel HD graphics, you can force it on a per application basis per the NVidia Control Panel that Gtanner mentioned. The settings are in "Manage 3D Settings" section.
