    do the g1 and the g1 s have the same battery?
    i'm looking to buy an extra for my to be computer.. and i assume they're the same because they're essentially the same thing on the outside

    but does the new one need more juice now?

    all i'm seeing are 8 cell which should be fine

    The G1S uses the exact same battery as the G1. So you're set.
