    HI!! im going to get my laptop in January - do you think can the price of ASUS G1 get lower on another 10%?

    Most likely not, from my personal observations of prices. A 10% drop implies a drop of $180USD from the $1799USD tag price. Which is substantial.

    As mentioned already in the past few threads, prices for ASUS notebooks do not fall, unless ASUS feels that it's simply not selling - which only has happened for the V6 and W2 series so far.

    To reflect market prices(the decrease/increase in processor/HD/RAM/etc. prices), they upgrade the specs instead of decreasing the price.

    who is eddy? is it possible to make a bigger order? so we order more laptops at once and we get like this a lower price...only for forum members...we could make a list...has it been done here already?

    i would also like to know how if i buy it from USA(newegg)/Canada is there some additional tax when shipping in Europe (Germany) or are the prices final?
