    g1s-B1- why is the harddrive on constantly

    Just wondering what would cause the harddrive light to be on constantly? My G1(not S) didn't do that in vista. I mean it would flash once in a while. and I changed my indexing.
    And I'm not 100% but now just opening control panel and such is running slow. enough where it'll pause to load the icons. And my g1 doesnt do that.

    and I don't know when this started happening, but my computer now takes a minute or two to shutdown while the harddrive light is on... man, I just know its gonna make me reisntall all over again. doh.
