    hi, there aren't many threads on this, and i wanted to make one just devoted to asking this one question. does the g1s have a slot where a kensington or similar lock can go in and secure it?

    Yes there is a Kensington lock slot.

    Yes, the G1S-A1 does have a K-Slot. It's right next to the vent slots on the back of the laptop, on the right-hand side, if you're looking at the back. Also, there are different brand locks that attach to standard ports on your machine. You may want to take a look at those, as well.
