Ok, I don't remember, but was there a patch I needed to install to auto throttle the CPU? NHC says my cpu is running at 2.39-2.40 always. No matter what mode I put my computer in NHC (balanced, max battery, max performance) or power4gear (quiet office, high performance) it stays at CPU max.

Use RMClock. NHC has compatibility issues with Vista.

If all the drivers are installed correctly and NHC isn't meddling, your CPU should be speedstepping.

+1 To you. Thanks! It was NHC that was showing me wrong. Thankgoodness. I have enough headaches trying to get vista running on this computer as it is.
