Don't do it, it fried my network card somehow.

A few poeple are posting problems caused by setFSB... I would stay away from it... Was thought to be fine but it seems to start causing problems because it does not support our chipset, people just found a way to make it work by picking another...

Absolutely right, I do it on mine for testing purposes, and I didn't validate the method yet. The clock generator is not supported and you must pick another to get it to work. But as soon as you reach "extreme overclock" you start encountering problems, in my case the card reader connecting/disconnecting. Other than that, the laptop is really really stable (i tested it more than 20 hours, full load, max 65°C CPU)
I'm sure the cpu (p8600 in my case) can handle more than 2.9ghz, but pci has to be locked, and maybe memory also. You better should wait for a new SetFSB release supporting our chipset.
g50 CPU overclock with setfsb
