I was planning to try the new Windows7 Beta 7000 on my G50V.
Did anyone gave it a try already? :D

I think you're referring to "Windows 7". I tried the beta 7000 but wasn't THAT impressed. I think it's a great OS and thats what Vista should have been. I don't call it a "New" OS because to me it still feels like Vista, just with a few tweaks. I like to refer to windows 7 as "Vista 2.0" :D

yeah I meant Windows7 sorry! did you had problems with the drivers? A lot of ppl reports more speed...more responsiveness... that would be not bad at all! I will install it in a few in a separate partition!

Nope, all drivers were fine. The only thing you'll need to do is update your video card driver from Nvidia and you should be good to go. It was pretty fast, but I had some issues with Steam and Xfire on Windows 7 so I just stopped using it and went back to Vista.

Works pretty good on mine. The only problem I have are the media buttons won't work.

Yeah, but not "Breath Taking" amounts. It could have been that I didn't have as many programs installed on Windows 7 (Photoshop, Nero, My 15+ games, Microsoft Office, etc.)
