    Howdy fellow asus owners.

I got myself a nice g50vt-x6, which im very proud of, as it is a beast of a laptop. However, I did upgrade/downgrade to winXP, because I dont like vista, and im ok with loosing some ram... Its nothing personal against Vista, and not a performance thing, believe it or not, its the file browser on XP which im so used to that got me to go back to the good ol OS.

Just in case anyone is wondering, everything works ok besides (as said a hundred times), infra red module, and direct console.

My issue however, is the lights on the top of the laptop, the blue ones, which on Vista could be disabled through direct console as far as I can remember. I found a post that told how to disable the OLED display thingie, but I have not been able to find anything about turning off the lights on the top of the notebook (the cover), which are insanely annoying considering I pretty much sleep next to the laptop in this room.

If anyone know a workaround fix, or anything about that, please help me!

    Best regards.
