    hey everyone,
so i recently got a 42 inch tv and i have been connecting my g50vt to my tv via hdmi. Weirdly, the tv screen will randomly turn off for a second and then turn on. It happens frequently, once every 4-30 seconds

does anyone else have this problem? did you find a fix? i need to play l4d2 on my tv!

im running windows 7 and the latest nvidia drivers
i have a comcast box and a dvd player connected to the tv as well, the comcast is hdmi and the dvd player is sill component =)

I have a strong feeling it is your NVIDIA drivers causing the issue. Roll back your drivers to an earlier version or install an earlier version and see if it corrects it. I recommend 186.81

i just downgraded, ill test it when i get home.

EDIT: ok, so i downgraded to 186 driver, and then connected my laptop to my tv and ran furmark at 1080p fullscreen. i averaged about 14fps (no msaa) but i still had the blinking. any other ides what might be wrong? whould i try different hdmi ports on my tv? different hdmi cables?\

EDIT EDIT: Ok, it was just the hdmi port i was using on the tv. i switched to a different port and ran furmark for 30 min with no errors.
