ok for the past 2days i been having trouble with the battery.
heres the problem when i use it on battery at first the battery is working fine like when i take it off ac power its on 100% to 98% so i pop a game on and run it for couple mins.
and when i look at the battery % its aready down to 45% so i play more and it gets really low so i say ok i problee have to contact asus for a battery replacement...
but today when i was useing it did the same thing but when i put it in stanby at 47% and take it out of standby it was back at 85%... so i start useing it and it was doing fine i let it go down to 21%.
than when i put it in standby to go to work and when i got to work to wake it up the battery was still at 21% so its normal than i start useing it than 10min later i look at the battery and its at 65% i was like ???
so what could be the problem?
should i let the battery run till the laptop shuts off to caberate it? or?

Yeah, I'd try running the battery down for a bit. Maybe boot up into the BIOS settings and just let it run itself down, and then plug it in as soon as it goes out and let it charge all the way before letting it go to battery power again. If that doesn't do something then call up Asus to RMA the battery.

How often do you use your notebook on battery life?
-
couple times a week but i ony had the laptop for a month and a half.
i left the laptop on till it went dead and charged it back up so hopefully that solves the problem. -

so far the battery is working normal after running it down till the laptop shuts off and will not power up.
been using it for the last 2 days and its working good.
i was using it today just on battery at work for 2hours and 30min watching you tube videos and played diablo 2 for 1hour and when i was done it still had 35% left and said it had 1hour and 20min left
seems like its working better than when i first got it.
g50vt-5 battery % is all over the place...
