Hi i was wondering what blu-ray writer would fit into my G50vt-x5 and if i can change the bezel with the one that is in my current writer.
The other question is, i want to know how well the x9100 processor is doing on user who upgraded to it and what kind of tempertures they are getting, as if i get this cpu i will do the copper mod to lower the temperture.
Many thanks!

Any 12.7mm SATA Blu-ray slim drive should work.

Intel Core 2 Extreme. -
This is what's on ASUS site as supported:
Intel® Core2 Duo Processor T9600/T9400/P8600/P8400/P7350 : 2.8 GHz - 2.0 GHz, 1066MHz, 6/3MB On-Die L2 Cache;
Perhaps others have tested different CPUs. I think there is an upgrades portion on this forum. Perhaps you shall find the answers you seek there.

Regarding the Blue-ray Question,
this thread has some good info;

Sorry, I don't have an X9100, but I bet that the temps would be quite reasonable, as my P8700 runs @~53 celsius @ full load O'Clocked to 2.875GHZ...
I wish Intel would of released a 3.4GHZ dual core mobile Penryn chip.. -
The X9100 should be fine, I think forge has one for sale.
