    I'm highly considering upgrading vista to windows 7 later this year. Will the direct console work with win7?

    Yes at this time direct console does work with windows 7 RC 1. Btw if u care ur sig should say G50VT-X5 as there was a G50V-X5 though cpu and gpu give it away.
