    hey,
I added an SSD to my G51. I'm trying to use the Original Seagate as a secondary, but the Bios doesn't recognize it and it restarts (Post) twice before it continues to boot all the way. Can anyone help with this one?? thanks

Go into bios, to all the way to the right. Click reset to user defaults. Save and exit. before booting back up, go back into the bios, go all the way to the right, and again click reset to user defaults. Save and exit. should be fixed.

Swap the hdd slots (put the ssd where in the second bay), just to see if its not a defective sata connector.

this is a known bios issue with these models....I'm betting the fix I posted above will work.
