    g51jx-x2 contrast ratio not that good?

    Hello, the g51jx-x2 is a very nice laptop but the contrast ration seems to be por even with it being LED backlite, does anyone know whats its contrast.

    the contrast ratio, its the first thing your supposed to look at when buying a lcd monitor or tv except for size. I have not found documentation on its contrast ratio.

    Contrast ratios are not usually given on laptop spec sheets. You'll have to find the manufacture and model of the screen yourself, then look it up on the LCD manufacture's website. However, even then, contrast ratios are often very different from what's being put on paper. Having an LED screen doesn't equate as having good contrast. The standard for most LED screens nowadays are often listed with a 500:1 ratio.
