    i just got my g71gx-rx05 shipped from canada and it was delivered to me by ups......i had to put the ram back in their slots....i think something happened while shipping......anyway when i tried to turn it on everything was normal exept the screen backlight is not on.....the screen is working though, theres a faint image.....im in india and its going to be a nightmare shipping it back so is it fixable?

    ummm anybody???.....and the lights on the lid arent working either so could it be a loose connection?

    Try adjusting the brightness settings.

    tried the brightness settings....no use..... :(

    ups shipped it for me......its like they dropped it or something..... :confused:
