    Hey guys.. im looking for a netbook now.. and i really prefer to get a eee netbook... 1215 is coming out this aug here in usa... and no words for 1218... 1215 has pretty good specs.. i have g73 now.. and im just going to use a netbook for school... do u think is good to get the 1215 on aug.. or just wait for a better one..

    im also deciding btwn the 2. i think the 1218 will be more expensive though bc of looks

    i have the 1215N on preorder. who knows how long it'll take for the 1218 to be released. you can always resell the 1215N if you really want the 1218 by that time.

    I would go for the 1215N as that is what I have decided upon as well.

    will the 1215n be able to play 1080p mkv movies? and will it be able to output it to an hdtv? I plan on using it for school and outputting movies to an hdtv

    where you pre-ordered it? at excaliberpc? it says its been discontinued.
    does anybody know how many ram slots 1215n will have? 1 or 2? also what kind of ddr3 memory is it?

    Fwiw, here's a quote from an early netbooknews.com article: "This CPU will be paired with the 16 cores new generation Nvidia ION for extensive graphic capabilities (will run 1080p content easily and even some modern games)."

    And w/ hdmi out, yeah, it should output to an hdtv.

    yes from excaliber. i got in before they removed it, so not sure what the status is now. the order hasn't been canceled yet though

    i see, i see, i hope u will get it. i have this feeling that once it will be available at new egg, it will be 479$ tho, but 20 buck difference is aint that bad, just half of the price of another ram stick, which i think is really important to put into machine like that (for total of 4gb). So once again, does anyone know if 1215n will have 2 slots of ram. Logically it should have two, but u never know.
