    graphics driver for 8600m GT on Asus website

    On the Asus website, they have a more recent video driver for the G2S than they do for the G1S. Since both of these notebooks have the same graphics card, will it be ok to simply use the updated driver for the G2S or should i wait for them to update the G1S driver instead?

    That's good to know. thanks. It does seem odd though since they both have the same graphics card. I may just get it directly from nvidia

    You may have to use www.laptopvideo2go.com , as usually nvidia leaves notebook graphics updates up to the manufacturer to give out.
