There are no negaitves to undervolting as long as it's done with care. The worst thing that can happen is the computer crashing. That means voltage must be increased back. -

which app is good for undervolting my w2p t7200 that does both cores? anyone else have seget a feel for averages on volt levels.
also can someone explain about multipliers? what other settings should i be aware of? thanks for the info -
There are guides for undervolting I think either on the Hardware or Guides forum.
All utilities that work for dual core "do both cores". I'm not even sure it's possible in the hardware to set voltages differently for the two cores.
Average volt levels -- it depends on the CPU series.
Multipliers: it's rather straightforward: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CPU_multiplier
At your level of experience, however, (see "explaining about multipliers") I recommend you don't mess around with undervolting and other stuff like this. At least not yet. Take it easy.
