All I can say is look for a LOT of new stuff starting in February..... between then and May there are going to be a lot of new systems. The S5 is gone, but the U5 has basically the same specs. I'm not sure if Asus is going to go with this model or something smaller because they want to seperate the W5 from everything else....... the S5 as is, isn't that much smaller and I know they'd like something super thin and light. That 3 pound U5 may be listed with a slightly larger battery, but that very well may be the model in they were talking about.

Hmm in the post made my coriolis. The first picture seem to have another collumn all the way to the right. It's too dark to be read, but from teh chronological order of the column it look like the last column is even smaller than 12". The S3N it seem. Was this some past older model. Or is it one of those new not release one? Ugh i can't imagine anything smaller than 12". I guess it'll be around the size of those portable DVD player with 9" screen lol.

Does that maybe include the Digimatrix 2 (or is it "II")? I know it's not a notebook, but I really like my W5a and was thinking about sticking with Asus...

Seems like Asus is going to pump out more new systems than two horny rabbits
There were already a lot of new systems in 2005... but I guess since new technology comes out so quickly, Asus has to adjust as well.

Not only making it for its Built On and ENSEMBLE units, but for PowerBooks, VAIO's, the new Dell line(I would think its neither Inspiron or Latitude, some new model....XPS perhaps?) and its various other projects.

    Jean,

No, I thought I told you this already... but they Asus Taiwan isn't going to go ahead and make the Digi2... let alone have the US opt to buy it or not..... Because of that I went off on an endevor and designed a media center system. We're in the final stages of design and hope to have prototypes to reviewers by the end of the year.... This includes Andrew here at NBR (even though it's not a notebook Andrew said he'd love to be one of the first to get a review out there)....

I could fill you in a little more if you want to email me... this is probably 50x more than you're looking for... but you may be interested...
