hey iv installed the new windows 7 on my n81... and i have a bit of a problem
drivers shouldnt be a problem since most of the Vista64 drivers should work for the windows7 64 as well
the problem is that im not sure which drivers i should install!!!
    audio/chipset/video are all standart

    but all the ATK
and which LAN/WIFI should i downlaoad since asus offers 2 drivers as far as iv seen
moreover how do i use the battery powering mode and making sure the touchpad /keyboard is working
all these drivers are needed yet im not sure which one to install

    thanks for all the help!

    There were a couple of devices which weren't detected for me;
    1. ITE_Remote_VT_080422.zip
    2. KB_filter_VT64_080918.zip
    3. Touchpad_VT_080605.zip
    4. FingerPrints_VT081223.zip
    5. ATK - i think i started with ATKDrv_VT64_080605.zip

I also downloaded the latest catalyst from
    http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx

btw the function key is a royal pain... if anyone has found a way to remap it, please let me know.
    Cheers

For the vista drivers that don't work on Win7, try right click on the driver exe file -> troubleshoot compatability -> try recommended settings -> start program

If the default drivers from Windows are working, I'd just go with them. The only exception might be a video card driver . . .

The ATK0100 ACPI utility is Asus's power management utility.
Intel turbo memory does not help your system's performance at all, especially if you've got 4GB of ram already. Personally, I would leave that out.
Intel Matrix storage technology is useful when you have one or more storage devices. I wouldn't worry about it since you won't be using RAID.
