hi everybody, yesterday my bought an external mouse for my asus k52f and i wanted to turn off my touchpad which disturb me a lot when i'm typing, i tried the combination fn+f9 but it didn't work.... please help me, i know about laptops not very much

Try reinstalling the mouse driver from ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support-
If it's an elantech touchpad it should have an option to disable the touchpad when an external mouse is plugged in, if you go to the mouse control panel. -

If it won't turn off in the control panel, I'm not sure. Maybe uninstall, reboot and reinstall the touchpad driver.
If it won't turn off with Fn+F9, try reinstalling the atk drivers. -
there should also be a setting in the bios if all else fails.. tho you'd need to reboot if you ever want to turn it on again
