i have installed crysis war head on my new n81 and the game is get stuked alot
on movies the screen sometimes seems like some of the picture has moved on yet the other half of the screen is still stuked on the old picture (for mili sec but its noiceable)
.. i tried lowering the graphic to meduim... and yet.. it doesnt carry it the way it should ...

am i doing somting wrong? bad drivers? forgot drivers? is it windows 7 ? is it my 64 bit opreation system? is there away to overcloack/accelerate this comp? i would be happy to hear your opinions.. especillay if you own this comp!

    Just some general opinions:

Could this be screen tearing due to the framerate being higher/different that your screen refresh rate?

Enabling v-sync usually solves this, but might be more taxing on your system.

I suppose the other option would be to just make sure you got the latest stable driver for your gpu. If I'm not mistaken, I remember reading somewhere in this forum that ATI have official support for mobility 4xxx for Windows 7.

    Try updating the GPU drivers.
    See if that helps first.

ok so i went back to my vista
since the installing program of ati began to make some crazy bugs and i had low fps so i gave up and went back to a stable windows
    now everything is alot better
EXCEPT! the screen is on 60 hz and cant go any better! all the drivers are installed correctly
and i still have this problem the the upper screen is changing too slow and that look sweird!
is it screen fps? how can i raise it?

    hey Rabbi;

the LCD vertical refresh rate is almost aways around 59 to 60Hz.

I've got the Crysis Warhead too - and have set it to be full screen 1366x768, no anti-aliasing, which raises the fps slightly.
Haven't tried any other resolutions yet - but there's no tearing (ie top half out of sync with lower half).

just to be sure - all your devices should be properly identified under device manager.

    yep
im using the vista image recived with the computer
and it happns mostly in the first movie....

not in game (as far as i seen it)
and right now fps is much bette (on vista and not windows7)

btw since you own n81 as well tell me how much does it weight
online i read it should be about 2.4 KG with battery
but mine is 2.6 so its kind of weird

ham and there is no way to raise the FPS of a screen?

first movie... can't remember - don't think there was any "pauses" (ie hdd can't keep up).
which reminds me - when i played Fear on my old desktop, the cut scenes were almost like what you've described - except that they would be "stutterings"... ie go/pause/go/pause.

weight... blimey... i ain't got a digital scale... don't tell me that you're obsessed with 200g hahaha

fps - not too sure since I've been out of playing first person shooter for a while.
I'm guessing - if you decrease the resolution, and set to a different quality setting (i've got it as Gamer), the frame rate might go up.

    the frame rate is ok
the only thing that bothers me now is the movie at the first time you start a single game which is clearly showing a desyncronized image :/
i wonder why and if/how it can be fixed

You can't raise your lcd screen refresh rate. That has a maximum of 60hz.
What you can change is the fps of your game. (but not selectively)

Seeing as this sounds more like a 'tearing' issue, you might want to try enabling v-sync option in the game (if there is one). This would force your game to display lower fps to match your screen refresh rate.

How does the Warhead play in game? Smooth? If it is, then this would mean that your system is more than capable, and tearing is just an unfortunate side effect from this power.

(This is not a technically accurate description, but it gets the point across. Do a search on v-sync and screen tearing if you want to find out more).
