That is probably because you're listing it for twice its value.

Actually, the retail value for your notebook (F9DC-B1) is $800. Depending on the condition, warranty and if the accessories are still included, I'd say anywhere between $600-700 would be reasonable.

If it is a second-hand, there is no way you an sell it at that price.

People aren't interested in fair prices. They're interested in good deals. If you start off lower, you'll get more people's attention.

If you're selling it on eBay, I would say around $500. I'm selling my dv6500z and hoping to get at least $450 out of it.

I wanna avoid to open another thread, but I have the same question.

    F3F - 100gb HDD, 1GB ram, intel 945, a/b/g intel wireless, integrated video-card, 1.3 MP camera.

I am trying to figure out if I should turn it in for the Sony trade-in program for $300, sell it or just keep it.

When stuff is fairl new and still part of the new technology curve people are interested in fair prices.

Like I could probably sell my new G50V for its near full price,

But as time passes technology loses value very fast, not even due to wear or anything just becuase it becomes out dated.

So it falls from leading edge to bleeding edge. At that point people only buy if its a "good deal" just like Tuna said.

With a Turion CPU not being desired compared to Intel, and new notebooks that run it to the ground for $1000 you going to have to let it go cheap or it probably wont go anywhere.

You could potentially get a bit more, perhaps up to $400-500 selling it. It's a bit old for tech with the original CDuo 1.66 in it.
