Can anyone tell me how to disable the audio display that pops up? I have an asus G73JH with windows 7... whenever I use the volume control (Fn + f11 or f12), the little picture pops up in the upper left and it minimizes whatever game/program I'm in. It's very annoying!! Any help on this would be appreciated

Try uninstall ATKOSD2. That should do the trick.

I see the option to uninstall atk package... is that what you are talking about? Will that affect other functions too? And will I still be able to change the volume with the volume keys?

Yes that is what David means. Once you remove the ATK package, none of the Fn + Fx keys will work. You will have to use the control that is built into windows, or the Creative application.

I tried this on mine (I have The latest ATK package installed) while playing Mafia II and Need for speed Shift and did not have the issue with either so I guess this may vary from game to game

In the new atk package that is one installer, you can't individually uninstall items like you could when it wasn't a package but individual atk installers. You'll just have to remove atkosd2 from your system startup or kill the process from task manager.
